JS application manages all Joint Study stages starting from the proposal to the completion. In brief, there are 4 main stages, namely: proposal, approval, progress monitoring, and final evaluation.

Registration

To be able to use this application, you must first register for an account. On the registration page, you will be asked to fill in company data such as company name, email, phone, and submit documents as follows:

  • NPWP/Taxpayer Number (from origin state)
  • Identity (ID Card/Passport) of company director
  • Deed of company

Please be advised that we are now still progressing this JS online application to be ready soon, so that all the application shall be submitted directly to Directorate General of Oil and Gas, or can be sent to dmew.konvensional@esdm.go.id or tu.migas@esdm.go.id  

Proposal documents

Please submit your Joint Study proposal by attaching the following required documents:

  • Area nomination (location, size & coordinates)
  • Company Profile, Financial Capability & Human Resources
  • Geology synopsis & preliminary Data evaluation
  • Proposed Work Program & Joint Study commitments
  • Commitment to submit Performance Bond

Area nomination

Joint Study can only be carried out in Open Area. If you are not certain of the status of the area that you will propose (whether the area is open or overlaps with working areas or with ongoing Joint Study areas), we recommend that you contact us so that we can verify its status before you submit your proposal.

FAQ

Yes, you can form a consortium with your partners to act as the proposer entity of Joint Study. Please note that in the registration page, you will also be asked to submit consortium agreement other than documents for each of the consortium member.

6 to 8 months, with the possibility of maximum 4 months extension period (justification required).

USD 500,000 will be needed for Performance Bond

We encourage you to become member of Migas Data Repository (MDR). By becoming a member, with the annual membership fee of US$ 35,000, you will have full access to all type (basic, processed, and interpretated data) of Open Data in all area in Indonesia.
